Discussion continued regarding the importance of long range
<br />planning, and Attorney Vitunac advised that his office will
<br />continue working with the Legal aspect and bring back a
<br />recommendation.to the Board.
<br />Commissioner Bird reported that he has been trying to get
<br />the University of Florida to help us with our Master Plan, but
<br />have not been able to; so, we are either going to have to do it
<br />in-house or obtain a consultant. He reported that, in addition
<br />to the building proposed by the Firefighters, agricultural
<br />interests are indicating they are interested in spending about
<br />$200,000 for another Large building for stock shows and
<br />agricultural exhibits.
