Schwartz <br />C/O Lloyd & Associates, Inc. <br />- 1835 20th Street <br />Vero Beach, FL 32960 <br />Waterway & Location: The project is located in the Indian <br />River, Section 25, Township 30 South, Range 38 East, Indian <br />River County, Florida. The upland property associated with the. <br />project is the Serenity Bay Multi -Family Residential Develo- <br />pment, located at 13425 Indian River Drive, in the unincor- <br />porated portion of the County. <br />Work & Purpose: The applicant proposes to construct a 6 -foot - <br />wide by 360 -foot -long pier- with a- 6 -foot -wide by 56 -foot -long <br />"T" at the outboard end and construct twelve 2 -foot -wide by 10 <br />footlong finger piers to create 24 boat slips for multi -family <br />use -(Serenity Bay). No dredging or filling will be performed; <br />no fueling or sewage pumpout facilities are proposed. <br />ALTERNATIVES & ANALYSIS: <br />'1 The Planning and Development Division reviews and submits <br />comments on dredge and fill applications to the permitting <br />agencies based upon the following: <br />- The Conservation & Coastal Zoning Management Element of <br />the Indian River Comprehensive Plan <br />- Costal Zone Management, Interim Goals, Objectives & <br />Policies for the Treasure Coast Region <br />- The Hutchinson Island Planning & Management Plan <br />- The Indian River County Code of Laws and Ordinances <br />- Chapter 16Q-20, Florida Administrative Code <br />The proposed multi -family residential dockage facility was <br />reviewed by staff as part of site plan review for phase I of <br />the Serenity Bay multiple -family condominium project. The <br />condominium development was approved by the County Planning and <br />Zoning Commission on September 25, 1986, with the condition <br />BOOK 66 E:365 <br />
