The new CCD system will include <br />all emergency services within the County excluding the City of <br />Sebastian and the City of Vero Beach. <br />I have previously submitted a list of needs and staffing require- <br />ments in order to bring about this communications system. It was <br />the expressed desire of the Board to implement the system in <br />January, 1987 or as soon there after as possible. Since that <br />time the action to release funds for the positions and related <br />computer hardware has been tabled. <br />I feel it is essential that these needs be discussed and approved <br />at your next meeting on November 24, 1986 or it will be physical- <br />ly impossible for us*to go on line anywhere near the projected <br />date. <br />If you have any questions or need further information, please do <br />not hesitate to contact me. <br />Si nrely, <br />,�1 <br />R.
