System <br />(Memo dated 10/29/86) <br />TOTAL CAPITAL COST <br />$122,610.00 <br />$67,440.00 <br />$129,328.00 <br />$586,359.00 <br />$905,737.00 <br />Richard Dees of the Sheriff's department aided in compiling the cost <br />breakdown and agrees with the total cost figure. <br />Sheriff Dobeck again emphasized that his department returned <br />$80,000 of last year's budget and hoped the Commission would <br />consider using a portion of that for funding the additional <br />personnel. The total amount for the salaries of the 6 <br />dispatchers is $100,263. <br />Director Baird pointed out that while the County's cash <br />carry forward has been deteriorating every year, the Sheriff's <br />Dept. has been one of the few to return funds at the end of the <br />fiscal year. <br />Sheriff Dobeck stated that he needed direction from the <br />Commission on when to phase in these new personnel so that they <br />know how to plan ahead, and Director Baird advised that the <br />Sheriff has $27,00 in his contingencies and the remainder of the <br />funding would have to come from the general fund contingencies. <br />31 <br />B001( Fir 0 <br />
