<br />If the Honorable Board of County Commissioners approve
<br />the CCD and 911 system as presented, it will require a
<br />572,864 budget amendment from contingencies for interim
<br />operating costs.
<br />Sheriff Dobeck asked for a decision from the Board on
<br />the $974,537 for capital costs for equipment and the expenditure
<br />of $72,864 for phasing in 6 additional dispatchers by March. He.
<br />noted that the Board already has approved $129,623 for salaries.
<br />Discussion took place on the tremendous cost of the Uninter-
<br />rupted Power Source at $60,000 and the necessity of having it
<br />installed.
<br />Commissioner Wheeler asked if the CAD system is part of the
<br />original bond issue, and Chairman Scurlock emphasized that it is
