There is a shortfall on the original bond issue, and this <br />will be part of the additional bond. <br />OMB Director Joe Baird explained that a portion of the cost <br />will come from the 911 one-half cent surcharge and the other <br />portion will come from proceeds of the existing bond issue and <br />the new bond issue that will be going out. <br />Commissioner Bird asked where the $72,564 was coming from, <br />and Director Baird said that it will be coming from the general <br />fund contingencies funds and not the Sheriff's $23,000 <br />contingencies because Florida law prohibits the Sheriff from <br />spending contingencies on salaries. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />$974,537 for capital costs for the CCD and 911 system, <br />and $72,864 for interim operating costs for 6 <br />additional dispatchers with the necessary funds coming <br />out of the Board's general contingency fund. <br />PUBLIC HEARING - ESTABLISHMENT OF STREET LIGHTING TAXING <br />DISTRICTS FOR IXORA PARK AND EASTVIEW GARDENS <br />The hour of 10:30 o'clock A.M. having passed, the Deputy <br />Clerk read the following Notice with Proof of Publication <br />attached, to wit: <br />47 <br />• <br />BOOK 66 F''r 6,'l <br />
