BOONE, ENGINEERING OPERATIONS MANAGE&R�X�_ <br />DIVISION OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: CARDINAL INDUSTRIES/CITRUS WOOD APARTMENTS <br />DEVELOPERS AGREEMENT/LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER <br />OF 8TH STREET AND 6TH AVENUE <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Division of Utility Services has required certain onsite and <br />offsite water and wastewater facilities to be oversized to meet <br />County master plan requirements. In particular, an 8 -inch offsite <br />water main was required by the water system master plan to be 12 <br />inches in diameter. Likewise, the Division of Utility Services <br />required the onsite lift station to be installed deeper to serve the <br />surrounding properties, as per the wastewater master plan. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Attached for your review and approval are five copies of the subject <br />Developers Agreement, outlining the allowable reimbursement for <br />oversizing of utilities amounting to $10,270.00. As outlined in the <br />Agreement, the Developer shall be reimbursed with 500 of all impact <br />fees collected from the subject project and any surrounding <br />properties who connect within five years of acceptance of the <br />improvements by the Division of Utility Services, not to exceed the <br />$10,270.00 allowable reimbursement. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Division of Utility Services recommends that the Board of County <br />Commissioners approve and execute the accompanying Developers <br />Agreement with Cardinal Industries, Inc. for the Citrus Wood <br />Apartments project. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Developers Agreement with Cardinal Industries <br />for the Citrus Wood Apartments project and authorized <br />the signature of the Chairman. <br />73 BOCK 66 ir4:UC -112 <br />DEC 1 � �� <br />
