Lynn Williams, Superintendent of Building & Grounds, <br />explained that Bob Hunt of the Fire Department looked over the <br />specifications before they went out and felt they were <br />sufficient. <br />Commissioner Bird wished to see this reviewed as some of the <br />items are bid so low it seems that a mistake was made. <br />Commissioner Eggert was concerned that -no attention was paid <br />to name brands. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously tabled <br />this item for further review. <br />M. Approval of Change Order for Sheriff's Admin. Bldg. <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 12/17/86: <br />TO:The Honorable Members of DATE: December 17, 1986 FILE: <br />the Board of County <br />Commissioners <br />THRU: Charles P. Balczun SUBJECT: Change order for <br />County Administrator Sheriff's Administration Bldg. <br />(IRC 3-1) <br />FROM: H. T. Dean REFERENCES: <br />Director <br />General Services <br />Subject change order is divided in two categories. Items "A" are in <br />reference to the "911" Center. Items "B" represent changes for the <br />Sheriff's Administration Building. <br />On December 12, 1986, Mr. Charles Block, Architect for the project, <br />informed the Board that a change order was forth -coming in reference <br />to conduit being installed beneath the slab of the two buildings. <br />Items "A" are for the "911" Center that were not included in the <br />original general contract. <br />Staff recommends approval as submitted by the Architect. <br />24 6 F,��;E 751 <br />BOOK ' <br />DEC 2 3 1986 <br />
