Terry REFERENCES: <br />Civil Engineer <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The paving of 37th Avenue between 10th Street & 12th Street <br />is complete. The final cost and preliminary estimate for the <br />work is: <br />Final Cost/FF Prelim. Const/FF Final Cost Prelim. Est. <br />1) 37th Avenue $9.5908 $11.1268 $22,845.34 $35,338.72 <br />All construction costs are under the original estimate. <br />The Final Assessment Roll has been prepared and is ready to <br />be delivered to the Clerk to the Board. Assessments are to <br />be paid within 90 days or in two equal installments, the first <br />to be made twelve months from the due date and the second to <br />be made twenty-four months from the due date at an interest <br />rate of to over the Prime Rate established by the Board of County <br />Commissioners. The due date is 90 days after the final <br />determination of the special assessments. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the final assessment to the benefited owners will <br />be less than computed on the preliminary assessment rolls, the <br />only alternative presented is to approve the final assessment <br />rolls. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />It is recommended that the Final Assessment Rolls for the <br />paving of 37th Avenue be approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners and that they be transferred to the Office of <br />the Clerk to the Board for collection. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved the <br />Final Assessment Roll for the paving of 37th Avenue <br />between 10th Street and 12th Street and directed that <br />the Roll be transferred to the Office of Clerk to <br />the Board for collection at a rate of 1% over the <br />Prime Rate as of today's date, or 81%. <br />(ROLL ON FILE IN OFFICE OF CLERK TO BOARD) <br />10 <br />
