The submitted $52,500.00 check will satisfy the sole condition of <br />preliminary plat approval. The condition stipulated that the <br />.public water access .easement requirement of the subdivision <br />ordinance is to be satisfied by the dedication of funds represent- <br />ing the fair market value of access easements in lieu of actually <br />providing a total of five such easements. The fair market value <br />of $52,500.00 was agreed to by the applicant and the county at the <br />time of preliminary plat approval. <br />Therefore, the improvements made on and adjacent to the subdivi- <br />sion plat site have been constructed and accepted. All aspects <br />and the condition of the preliminary plat approval have been <br />satisfied. Thus, all County requirements regarding final plat <br />approval have been satisfied. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners grant <br />final plat approval to Orchid Isle Estates Subdivision and accept <br />the submitted $52,500.00 dedication to the park development fund <br />as satisfaction of the public water access requirement. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously granted <br />final plat approval for Orchid Isle Estates <br />Subdivision and accepted the submitted $52,500 <br />dedication to the park development fund as <br />satisfaction of the public water access requirement, <br />as recommended by staff. <br />F.
