Director Davis noted that one of the next agenda item deals <br />with award of the bid for this project so they are anxious to get <br />the R/W. <br />Commissioner Bird questioned hiring an M.A.T. for the <br />appraisal as they are generally more expensive. <br />Director Davis stated that we try to stay competitive and <br />use as many appraisers as possible, but in this particular <br />project where a sensitive structure is in the way, they want to <br />make sure we have a high quality appraisal and would like to go <br />with the-M.A.I. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bird, the Board unanimously authorized <br />staff to hire Armfield to do the appraisal and author- <br />ized condemnation if the property owners are not <br />willing to sell at the market value. <br />BID ACCEPTANCE - ERCILDOUNE HEIGHTS SUBDV. Terry REFERENCES: <br />Civil Engineer <br />BACKGROUND INFORMATION <br />Property Owners of Ercildoune Heights Subdivision petitioned the <br />County to make paving and drainage improvements to the roads within this <br />subdivision. Curbing is essential in some portions of the subdivision <br />for proper drainage. <br />The Engineering Division prepared plans and specifications for this <br />curbing.
