Terry " REFERENCES: <br />Civil Engineer <br />BACKGROUND INFORMATION <br />Property Owners of Ercildoune Heights Subdivision petitioned the <br />County to make paving and drainage improvements to the roads within this <br />subdivision. Drainage structures are required due to the contour of the - <br />land and are required by St. Johns River Water Management District. <br />The Engineering Division prepared plans and specifications for <br />these structures. Plans were made available to all interested <br />contractors in response to our advertisement for bids placed in the <br />Press Journal during the week of February 9, 1987. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Bids were received on February 25, 1987 as follows: <br />Company Base Bid <br />*Mitchell Concrete Products <br />Ft. Pierce, Florida $5,285.00 <br />Staff's Engineer estimate for this project is approximately <br />$5,900.00. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends awarding the contract to Mitchell Concrete <br />Products. -- <br />Funds to be appropriated in amount of $5,285.00 to cover the cost <br />of this project. <br />Funding is to be from Petition Paving Account #703-214-541-035.29. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously awarded the <br />contract for Ercildoune Heights drainage structures <br />to Mitchell Concrete Products in the amount of <br />$5,285 as recommended by staff. <br />73 <br />BOOK 6 7 F,� G 850J, <br />
