ORDINANCE NO. 87-56 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP <br />FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has determined <br />that this rezoning is in conformance with the Land Use Element of <br />the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of <br />the following described property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />Lots 80, 85, 86, 87, and those parts of Lots 88 <br />and 89 lying west of Roseland Road, Section 28, <br />Fleming Grant, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page <br />175, Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida; <br />now situate in Indian River County, Florida, and <br />also beginning at the Point of intersection of , the <br />west line of the southwest quarter of the <br />southeast quarter of Section 11, Township 31 <br />South, Range 38 East, and the southeasterly line <br />of the Fleming Grant, run east to the west <br />right-of-way line of the Fellsmere-Roseland County <br />road, on a line parallel with the north line of said <br />southwest quarter of southeast quarter; thence run <br />northwesterly along said west right-of-way to the <br />aforementioned southeasterly line of the Fleming Grant; <br />thence run southeasterly along said Fleming Grant line <br />to the Point of Beginning. <br />Be changed from A-1, Agricultural <br />Single -Family Residential District. <br />23 <br />i L APR 14 1987 <br />District, to RS -1, <br />� <br />BOOK 8 FAGS 2_2 <br />
