Balczun <br />County Administrator <br />SUBJECT: Professional Services Agreement <br />Beach Nourishment Project - DNR <br />State Funding Application - <br />James W. Davis, P.E. Letter: Agreement <br />FROM: public Works Director REFERENCES: Coastal Tech Corp, and <br />Indian River County <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Board of County commissioners during the regular April 7, 1987 <br />meeting authorized the staff to prepare and negotiate an agreement with <br />a consulting firm for the preparation of a Florida D.N.R. Erosion <br />Control Program Grant Application for the Beach Nourishment project. <br />Staff has met with Mike Walther, Coastal Tech, and negotiated the <br />attached agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends approval of the agreement and authorization for <br />the Chairman to execute the agreement. Funding in the amount of <br />$1,800.00 to be as follows: Transfer from 102-199-581-099.91 (Federal <br />Revenue Sharing Contingencies) to Fund 102-210-515-33.19. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />agreement with Coastal Technology Corporation for <br />engineering services relative to application to the <br />DNR for Erosion Control Program Funds. <br />5 <br />BOOK PAGE is <br />APR, 2-11987 <br />
