ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously <br />appointed Commissioner Eggert to serve on the <br />Primary/Indigent Health Care Sub -Committee. <br />SOUTH COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT <br />The Board of County Commissioners recessed at 11:40 o'clock <br />A.M. in order that the District Board of the South County Fire <br />District might convene. Those Minutes are being prepared <br />separately. <br />The Board of County Commissioners reconvened at 11:45 <br />o'clock A.M. with the same members present. <br />PRESENTATION ON NORTH COUNTY SEWER PROJECT BY MASTELLER AND <br />MOLER, INC. <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 5/4/87: <br />DATE: MAY 4, 1987 <br />TO: BOARD OF COUNTY COMMI SIS NERS <br />FROM: TERRANCE G. PINTO <br />DIRECTOR OF UTIL ICES <br />SUBJECT: PRESENTATION TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />BY MASTELLER AND MOLER, INC., REGARDING THE NORTH <br />COUNTY SEWER PROJECT <br />BACKGROUND <br />Early 1986, Masteller and Moler, Inc., was authorized by the Board of <br />County Commissioners to begin engineering studies relating to the <br />North County Sewer Projedt. A considerable amount of time has been <br />devoted to several feasibility studies associated with the project. <br />Due to the large service area, response time has been very slow but <br />rewarding. Masteller and Moler would like to take this opportunity <br />and share this information with the Board of County Commissioners. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the information that Masteller and Moler has provided, the <br />Utility Department asks that the Board of County Commissioners <br />authorize the Department to proceed immediately with the necessary <br />steps associated with the design, implementation and completion of <br />the project. <br />43 <br />MAY 12'Q7 BGGK rr�r,r n��P� <br />
