Scurlock, Jr., Chairman <br />Indian River County Board of County Commissioners <br />At the May 4, 1987 meeting on Indian River County's <br />Primary/Indigent Health Care, it was decided to form a sub- <br />committee. The goal of the committee is to revise or improve <br />a plan to set in motion a Primary/Indigent Care Center for <br />Indian River County to better provide for the health care <br />needs of the citizens of the community. <br />The committee would consist of one representative from <br />the following groups: <br />Indian River Memorial Hospital <br />Indian River County Hospital District <br />Indian River County Public Health Unit <br />Indian River County Medical Society <br />Indian River County Board of County Commissioners <br />Please appoint a representative or designate a person to <br />act as a member of this committee and let us know your deci- <br />sion by May 15 if possible. You may call 567-1101 extension <br />35. As soon as we have this information, we will begin mak- <br />ing arrangements for another meeting. <br />Qjacquel ne Chesney, R.N., M.N. <br />Acting dm' istrative Director <br />Commissioner Eggert advised that she has been serving on the <br />Indigent Care Task Force, but there has been a recommendation <br />that a new committee be formed.
