JUR 91987 BOOK, 6,8 [AGUE <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />Date: May 26, 1987 Work Authorization No. 16 for Consulting Services <br />Project No. 16 (County) 86004 Masteller & MOler Associates, Inc. (WASTEWATER) <br />I. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />Title: North County Subregional Sewer System <br />Consulting engineering services consisting of design, engineering, preparation of <br />contract plans and bid docuemnts, securing regulatory agency permitting, assistance <br />during bidding, and resident inspection relative to construction of the North County <br />Subregional Sewer System. This sewer project is described in detail in the "North <br />County Subregional Sewer Feasibility Study and Report" prepared by our office for <br />Indian River County and dated September, 1986 and revised/amended May, 1987. The <br />construction cost estimate for the project, including 10% contingency, is <br />$5,848,975.00. See pages 25 and 26 of the "Report" for a detailed tabulation of <br />the Project Cost Estimate. <br />II. SCOPE OF SERVICES AND LUMP SUM FEE FOR SERVICES <br />Reference is made to the "Agreement for Professional Services" dated July 2, 1986 <br />and specific Article numbers and paragraph numbers which are listed hereinafter to <br />describe the scope of services included on this project: <br />A. Project Design Services per Article 4, paragraph 4a. and 4b. <br />B. General Services During Construction per Article 5, Paragraph 5a., 5b., 5c. <br />C. Supplementary and Special Services per Article 6, Paragraph 6a.,6b.,6c.,6d.,6e., <br />6f., and 6g. It is specifically agreed that Paragraph 6a. will include the necessary <br />hydrogeologic/soils studies and preparation of a report by a special consultant to <br />secure a permit for effluent irrigation at the Sandridge Golf Course. <br />All permit fees shall be paid by the County. <br />D. Payment for Services per Article 8, the lump sum fee for Article 4, Paragraph 4a. <br />and 4b. above (Engineering Design Fee) is $340,200.00 and Article 5, Paragraph 5a., <br />5b., 5c. above (Resident Project Inspection Fee) is $115,200.00. Payment shall be <br />per Article 8, paragraph 8b. and 8d.
