The proposed rezoning would also - <br />bring the three lots into conformance with the RFD zoning <br />regulations. <br />Transportation Svstem <br />The subject parcels each have frontage on 5th Street S.W., <br />classified as a secondary collector on the County Thoroughfare <br />Plan. Even though this portion of 5th Street S.W. is currently <br />unpaved, the addition of three new single-family homes should <br />have no adverse impact on the level of service or road conditions <br />for this area, especially due to the close proximity with 58th <br />Avenue which is paved. _ <br />Environment - <br />The subject parcels are not considered environmentally sensitive, <br />nor are they located in a flood prone area. <br />Utilities <br />No public utilities currently exist in this area. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the analysis performed above, staff recommends approval. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be heard. <br />There were none, and the Chairman thereupon declared the public <br />hearing closed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Eggert, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 87-44 rezoning 7.8 acres located on the <br />north side of 5th St. S.W.
