BARTON c��, -_ <br />ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: FINAL PAYMENT FOR SERVICES <br />. WILLIAMS, HATFIELD & STONER, INC. AND CARTER AND ASSOCIATES <br />BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS <br />The Board of County Commissioners entered into several contracts in <br />1984 with the joint venture of Williams, Hatfield & Stoner, Inc. and <br />Carter and Associates. The contracts cover the following three areas: <br />A. Wastewater - Route 60 - Pumping Station/Force Main <br />B. Wastewater Site and Plant - Route 60 - (West Regional Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant). <br />C. Master Plan - Wastewater <br />During the course of the project design and construction, the Board of <br />County Commissioners authorized additional services under the existing <br />contract to complete the project. At the present time, the project is <br />complete and the final payment is due in the amount of $23,756.99. <br />Attached is a copy of the complete breakdown of basic services and <br />additional services for all three projects. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Division of Utility Services recommends to the Board of County <br />Commissioners that they approve the final payment of $23,756.99 for the <br />three contracts and accept the breakdown of basic and additional <br />services for the projects outlined in the attached letter from the <br />joint venture.
