CHEATH <br />It is requested that the data presented herein be given formai <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at their <br />regular meeting on July 7, 1987. <br />DESCRIPTION & CONDITIONS: <br />On May 12, 1987, staff presented to the Board of County Com- <br />missioners a code enforcement case concerning an illegal mobile <br />home off Oslo Road. The case, pertaining to Mr. Lorenzo <br />Lattimore of 8th Court, S.W., was brought before the Commission <br />as requested by the County Code Enforcement Board, due to the <br />respondent's economic difficulties in meeting compliance. <br />Subsequently, the Board of County Commissioners' directive was <br />for the Code Enforcement Board to continue coordinating with <br />the Indian River County Housing Authority to provide assistance. <br />Further, it was requested that staff report back to the Com- <br />mission if the case was not resolved by June 22, 1987, a <br />tentative compliance date set by the Code Enforcement Board. <br />In that the matter is not yet resolved, this memorandum is <br />presented as an update of the status of the Lattimore code <br />enforcement case. <br />ALTERNATIVES & ANALYSIS: <br />The Indian River County Housing Authority has informed Code <br />Enforcement staff that Mr. Lattimore has been accepted and will <br />redeive assistance to relocate his family into the Victory Park <br />housing complex, being constructed in Gifford. Mr. Lattimore's <br />application for assistance is complete, with the exception of <br />birth certificate submittal. Staff was informed that Victory <br />Park is scheduled for completion in September. <br />10 <br />
