The Motion <br />was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />CONSULTANT FOR LIBRARY BUILDING PROGRAMS <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 7/1/87: <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Carolyn R. Eggert, Chairman <br />Public Library Advisory Board <br />DATE: July 1, 1987 <br />SUBJECT: Consultant for Library Building Programs <br />On Thursday, June 25, 1987, the Public Library Advisory <br />Board voted to recommend to the Board of County Commissioners <br />the firm of HBW, of Dallas, Texas, for a price of: <br />Library Building Programs $18,520.75 <br />Methodologies 15,027.63 <br />Total $33,548.38 <br />County Administrator Charles Balczun is to negotiate with <br />Mr. Waters of that firm on the number of days he is to be in <br />Indian River County. <br />HBW is a highly respected firm in the development of library <br />building programs, and. they have recently done excellent work in <br />South Florida. <br />I recommend to the Board of County Commissioners that HBW be <br />approved as the Building Program Consultant and that the Chairman <br />be authorized to sign a contract not to exceed the total listed <br />above. <br />Funds are to come from interfund borrowing (with interest) <br />until the bond money is available. <br />66 <br />
