Davis, P.E., <br />Public Works Director <br />To complement staff's July 20, 1987 memo to the Board on Engineering <br />Services for the design of the Phase IV North Extension of Indian River <br />Boulevard, the following procedure is recommended: <br />1) Indian River County would enter into a developer's agreement with <br />Grand Harbor whereby Grand Harbor would agree to provide funding for <br />the Engineering design services. This funding would be eligible for <br />future Traffic Impact Fee credits attributable to the Project. <br />2) The County staff would develop a Request for Proposals and <br />competitively select an Engineering firm to perform the work. <br />3) The County would enter into a Contract with the selected Consultant to <br />perform the design services. Prior to execution of the contract, the <br />Developer would deposit the funds for the Engineering work in the <br />County's escrow account. <br />4) The County staff would supervise and manage the project. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved the <br />recommendation as amended and set out in the Public <br />Works Director's memo of July 26, 1987. <br />D.
