AUG 25 `937 <br />BOOK 69 PA tl <br />George McCullers, owner of Reliable Septic Tank Services, <br />announced that as of October 1, 1987, he hopes to have a lime <br />stabilization facility available. He felt the County might want <br />to use it during the interval of building their own <br />sludge/septage facilities. <br />Chairman Scurlock felt that might be a good idea, but <br />_stressed that the County needs to move ahead with long range <br />plans. <br />There being no others who wished to be heard, the Chairman <br />closed the Public Hearing. <br />Chairman Scurlock congratulated Mr. Munksgaard on CDM's <br />excellent presentation this morning. <br />APPRAISAL OF PROPOSED SOUTH COUNTY REGIONAL PARK PROPERTY - OSLO <br />ROAD AT 20TH AVENUE <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 8/18/87: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of the DATE: August 18, 1987 FILE: <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />THROUGH: <br />Charles Balczun, <br />County Administrator SUBJECT: <br />Appraisal of Proposed South <br />County Regional Park Property <br />- Oslo Road at 20th Avenue <br />FROM REFERENCES: W. Davis, P.E.EFERENCES: Juliana Young and Peter <br />. <br />Public Works Directo Armfield to Donald Finney <br />dated 7-14-82 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS -- <br />AYmfield Wagner Appraisal and Research, Inc., has completed an appraisal of <br />the 76.93± acre parcel of the northeast corner of Oslo Road and 20th <br />Avenue. The appraised value was established at $1,365,000 (approx. <br />$17,743.40 per acre). <br />The appraisal of the Nprth Tracking Station property is currently being <br />conducted and should be complete by Sept. 1, 1987. ` <br />An appraisal of an 8.82 acre County owned parcel located 320 feet west of <br />the northwest corner of 43rd Avenue and 5th Street SW was conpleted and an <br />appraised value was established at $106,000. <br />Originally, it was anticipated that the 541 Street SW parcel and North <br />Tracking Station parcel could be sold and the revenues applied to the <br />purchase of the 76.93 acres on Oslo Road. <br />`'{�• ":" ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS t <br />- At this time, the following alternatives are presented: qt <br />47 <br />
