HOSPITAL - Representative from Hospital Taxing District <br />Board (currently Dr. David Becker) <br />Representative from Hospital. <br />(currently Wesley Tillis) <br />if we need to establish the formal panel later, we can. <br />_ Please let me know if this meets with your approval. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bird, the Board approved the make up of <br />the Primary Care Committee as described above. <br />L I BRARRY REPORT <br />iCommissioner Eggert reported that the Fellsmere ladies have <br />now decided they want to have a lease with the County not the <br />City of Fellsmere and that will be taken care of shortly. <br />In regard to the library funds, Commissioner Eggert advised <br />thatlshe has conferred with OMB Director Baird and Financial <br />Advisor Art Diamond, and the 5.9 bond issue voted in is going to <br />be extraordinarily tight. She, therefore, was glad to know that <br />we arse going to have a workshop on long term debt as we need to <br />discuss priorities and determine how the purchase of the library <br />site fits in with other county projects. <br />Chairman Scurlock commented that he would like to have a <br />meeting in the near future possibly with Mrs. Eggert and one or <br />two From the Library Committee, Mr. Wheeler and one or two from <br />the Courthouse Committee, and one or two from the Finance <br />Advisory Committee in this regard. He believed the newspaper <br />article in regard to revitalization of the downtown area has <br />mistakenly given some the idea that there is a plan to abandon - <br />this building, and that is not correct. The thought process is <br />simply that the School Board may have additional needs in the <br />future and might possibly take over some additional space in this <br />bungling; we will be using this building for a long time. <br />Commissioner Eggert stated that she would like to present <br />this logically to the Library Committee, which still thinks the <br />arealbehind the 2001 Building is the spot, and she.just wanted a <br />SUP I .196 45 .a <br />9ooK PAGE 22 + <br />
