i <br />noted that some of the people at the budget hearings were not <br />evenlpolite, and that five Commissioners stuck it out alone, <br />without one constitutional officer being present. He emphasized <br />that 'he has asked each of the constitutional officers to attend <br />tomorrow evening's final budget hearing which begins at 5:01 <br />O'clock. <br />The Commissioners noted that -few people were in attendance <br />duri g the budget workshops besides staff members and <br />representatives from those agencies requesting an increase in <br />thein, budgets. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />accepted the $425,000 in excess funds from the <br />Sheriff's Dept. and authorized the transfer of <br />$51,500 of the anticipated excess to the Sheriff's <br />Capital account for equipment needs, as requested by <br />the Sheriff in the above budget amendment. <br />STATUS REPORT FROM COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR ON VARIOUS REQUESTED <br />PROJECTS <br />The Board reviewed the following memo: <br />TO: Charles P. Balczun, Administrator <br />FROM: Liz Forlani, Administrative Aide <br />RE: Commission Requested Projects <br />It has been suggested by some Commissioners that the <br />follow ng list of requested projects be placed on an agenda for <br />discussion and priortization by you, and in addition, your <br />estimation of time for completion. The list is a compilation of <br />assignents requested during budget hearings and during regular <br />Commis ion meetings. Also, the Commission would like to be <br />inform d as to what projects on this list have been completed. <br />1.
