Davis, P.E., <br />•Public Works Directof <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid #356 - Road and <br />Bridge Dept. - Asphalt Coated <br />Corrugated Steel and Aluminum <br />Metal Pipe - Annual Contract <br />REFERENCES: <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Bids were received Aug. 26, 1987, for the Road and Bridge Departments <br />annual contract for Asphalt Coated Corrugated Steel and Aluminum Metal <br />Pipe. Three Bids were received as shown on the attached Bid Tabulation <br />Sheet: <br />RECOML MATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends awarding the bid to Coastal Corrugated Pipe, Vero Beach, <br />as the lowest and best bid. The County uses the smaller dieter pipe more <br />frequently than the larger pipe. <br />Funding to be from Petition Paving Fund 703 or Road & Bridge Fund 111-214 <br />v <br />as needed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously (4-0) awarded <br />-_ - Bid 9356 for Asphalt Coated Corrugated Steel and <br />Aluminum Metal Pipe to Coastal Corrugated Pipe, Vero <br />Beach, as the lowest and best bid, per the following <br />Bid Tabulation: <br />10 <br />
