With regard to the north county site, no matter what <br />direction is taken, the Chamber of Commerce and the Council of <br />100 are 100% behind a quality library to serve the north section <br />of the county. <br />Edra Young, resident of Sebastian, was concerned about where <br />the library would be located, and presented a letter from the <br />River's Edge Property Owner's Association urging the County <br />Commission to vote in favor of the Sebastian lakes site. <br />Chairman Scurlock asked if the County would have to pay <br />impact fees since Sebastian Lakes already has a water and sewer <br />system, and Mr. Brierley stated that the County would have to pay <br />the impact fees, but felt that they are very modest. <br />There being no others who wished to speak on the north <br />county site, the Chairman closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously authorized <br />staff to negotiate a firm contract on the Sebastian <br />Lakes site to be brought back to the Board for a final <br />public hearing. <br />Main Library Site - Vero Beach <br />Planner Stan Boling showed slidefilms of the following three <br />sites: <br />NOV 17 1987 23 BOOK 70 <br />
