Not <br />adjacent to resi- <br />dential properties. <br />Commissioner <br />Eggert <br />pointed out <br />that the <br />correct <br />order of <br />the ranking is 1) Grace Lutheran, 2) Catron, and 3) <br />MacDonald/Davis. <br />Mr. Boling pointed out that single-family homes are adjacent <br />to the Catron site on both sides, but the size of the site is big <br />enough to accommodate a library. He advised that staff contacted <br />the adjacent owners to the Catron site, and, with the exception <br />of two owners who could not be contacted, they have no objections <br />with the library going in there. Two zoning changes would be <br />needed in that event. The property to be developed as a library <br />would have to be rezoned to a zoning district that allows a <br />library site, and if the entire property were rezoned to POI, <br />there would have to be a zoning text amendment to the POI <br />district because it does not allow for a library at this time. <br />However, the City planning staff is concerned that moving the <br />boundary of the POI all the way down to 19th Street might set a <br />precedent for other areas along SR -60. <br />Commissioner Eggert understood there is a possibility of <br />zoning that site into a higher density, multiple -family district, <br />24 <br />
