REFERENCES: tierra Linda <br />Staff Planner BWIEG2 <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at their <br />regular meeting of November 17, 1987. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />On October 20, 1987, the Board of County Commissioners granted <br />final plat approval to Tierra Linda Estates Subdivision and <br />accepted the normal warranty maintenance agreement.. covering <br />publicly dedicated road and drainage improvements along with a <br />maintenance bond guaranteeing the warranty maintenance agreement. <br />The original maintenance bond was for an amount of $19,786.00. <br />The developer, pursuant to a request from the Utilities <br />Department, has now submitted a maintenance bond to cover road, <br />drainage, and utilities improvements. The new bond is in the <br />amount of $61,788.00. The developer is now requesting that the <br />Board release all responsibility for, and void, the original <br />$19,786.00 maintenance bond and accept the $61,788.00 maintenance <br />bond in its place. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />The County Attorney's office has approved: <br />1. the termination of the $19,786.00 maintenance bond; and <br />2. the replacement bond for the amount of $61,788.00. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners release <br />all responsibility for, and void, the original $19,786.00 mainte- <br />nance bond, and accept the $61,788.00 maintenance bond in its <br />place. <br />3 BOOK 70 xE 98 <br />SOV 1,-1.1987 <br />
