Declare Asset "Surplus Property" (Vehicle) <br />The Board reviewed memo from the OMB Director: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners DATE: December 15, 1987 FILE: <br />SUBJECT: DECLARE ASSET <br />"SURPLUS PROPERTY" <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird, Di rector REFERENCES. <br />Management & Budget <br />DESCRIPTION OF CONDITIONS <br />Staff would like to declare the following vehicle as surplus property: <br />Vehicle 1978 Dodge <br />Vehicle # 134 <br />Asset # 3244 <br />The vehicle was assigned to the Code Enforcement Division. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The 1978 Dodge has 54,826 miles on it. The vehicle is in need of mechanical <br />work and the body is deteriorated. Staff feels the automobile is not worth <br />repairing because of -its age and estimated useful life. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Vehicle be "declared surplus" and advertised for sale to the highest <br />bidder. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com <br />missioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously declared <br />the above described vehicle surplus and authorized <br />staff to advertise it for sale. <br />C.
