County Administrator <br />UTILITIES OFFICE <br />REMODELING PROJECT <br />It. is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at their regular meeting <br />of December 22, 1987. <br />DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS <br />The desire to expedite the utilities office remodeling project has been <br />strongly expressed by all parties concerned with it. There have been <br />delays in receiving completed architectural drawings which have prevented <br />progress beyond partial demolition. A staff person will work with the <br />architect to effect communication and expedite matters. <br />Staff has been assigned as project manager and the lines of communication <br />between the involved departments has been established. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff concurs with Chairman Scurlock's recommendation that upon receipt <br />from the architect of sufficient and adequate plans the project should be <br />let for bid to private, local, construction firms. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the recommendation to let the Utilities Office Re- <br />modeling project for bid to private, local construc- <br />tion firms upon receipt of adequate plans from the <br />architect. <br />q <br />D.
