JAN 19 1988 <br />BOOR 70 FgE 596 <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be heard. <br />Dean Luethje of Carter Associates came before the Board <br />representing Sunshine Homes. He advised that Attorney Joe <br />Collins and his client, as well as the owners, the Luther family, <br />are here to answer any questions that may be asked. <br />It was determined that no one else wished to be heard, and <br />the Chairman thereupon declared the public hearing closed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted Ordinance <br />88-1, rezoning 62 acres east of U.S., and north of <br />73rd Street from A-1 to RS -3 as requested by Sunshine <br />Homes, acting as agent for the Luther family. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 88- 1 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP <br />FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has determined <br />that this rezoning is in conformance with the Land Use Element of <br />the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />ORDINANCE 88-1 IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD IN <br />ITS ENTIRETY. <br />36 <br />
