SECTION 2. REQUIREMENT TO APPLY TO EXISTING <br />UILITY FRANCHISES WHERE APPROPRIATE <br />Where consistent with law existing Utilities with <br />franchises issued by Indian River County which require the <br />connection under certain conditions are authorized by this <br />ordinance to pay the requisite fees, charges, and rates, <br />including, impact fees, over time as specified by the County <br />in its financing plan for the expansion of the County <br />Utilities System. <br />SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY <br />If any part of this ordinance is found to be <br />unenforceable, the unenforceable part shall be considered to <br />be severable and the rest of this ordinance shall be <br />continued to be enforced. <br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />• This ordinance shall become effective upon final <br />passage. <br />Approved and adopted by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, on this 2nd <br />day of February , 1988. <br />This ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach <br />Press Journal on the 14th day of January , 1988, for a <br />public hearing to be held on the 2nd day of February , <br />1988, at which time it was moved for adoption by <br />Commissioner Eggert , seconded by Commissioner Wheeler , and <br />adopted by the following vote: <br />Chairman Don C.
