Davis, P.E. 0(i.' <br />Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: Professional Engineering Services Agreement <br />Miscellaneous Intersection Improvements Phase III <br />DATE: March 28, 1988 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The Public Works Department staff has prepared and transmitted to <br />Lloyd and Associates, the attached Professional Engineering <br />Services Agreement.. The scope of work has been carefully <br />prepared and the Engineering fee has been negotiated to result in <br />a lump sum fee of $75,491. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />It is recommended that the Chairman be authorized to execute the <br />agreement and that a NOTICE TO PROCEED be issued. Funding to be <br />from 109-141-541-033.13, Traffic Impact Fees, Anvo Lu- op�„r. Gks 'rn7c-. <br />Administrator Balczun pointed out that we have indicated to <br />the Board of Education that upon execution of this agreement, we <br />would let Mr. Lloyd know that we intend to "fast track" the work <br />at 43rd Avenue and 8th Street, principally because of the diffi- <br />culties the children have in crossing that intersection. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Professional Engineering Services Agreement with <br />Lloyd and Associates for a lump sum fee of $75,491; <br />authorized the issuance of a Notice to Proceed; and <br />authorized the Chairman's signature.
