Finney, SRA <br />Right -of -Way Acquisition Agent <br />SUBJECT: Indian River Boulevard <br />at 53rd Street and U.S.' <br />Highway 1 intersections <br />BACKGROUND INFORMATION <br />April 12, 1988 <br />Additional right-of-way is required on the south side of <br />53rd Street to accommodate the road intersection of Indian River <br />Boulevard. Two separate right-of-way parcels are involved which <br />require an appraisal. <br />Mr. Armfield is appraising adjoining Boulevard r/w parcels <br />for the county at this time and will include these two properties <br />in the original report for an additional fee of $2,000. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />Staff requests authorization for Mr. Armfield's firm to <br />appraise the two parcels, fee not to exceed $2,000. <br />Funding to be from account #309-214-541. <br />ARMFIELD-WAGNER APPRAISAL & RESEARCH, INC. <br />APR 26 19 <br />Mr. Donald G. No. 11161 for the <br />acquisition of the right-of-way corridor for the proposed <br />Indian River Boulevard, North Phase IV Extension (from <br />45th Street to 53rd Street). The two additional parcels <br />are identified as follows: <br />Parcel # Owner of Record Tax I.D. # <br />A Martha S. Struever and 23-32-39-00000-3000-00004.0 <br />Harry Erlenborn and <br />Harry Wyatt and The 1st <br />National Bank of Peru <br />J. Luther Groves 23-32-39-00000-3000-00005.0 <br />Each parcel is to be dealt with as a separate report in <br />conjunction with general area data along with reports <br />for Parcels #12, #17, #18 and #19. <br />Dear Mr. Finney: <br />I have reviewed the above parcels. It is our understanding <br />that the appraisals entail partial takings and both before and <br />after the taking methodology will be used to estimate the <br />Market Value in accordance with the Florida Statute concerning <br />possible condemnation. <br />We will be able to complete a full narrative appraisal on these <br />additional parcels for a fee of $1,500 for Parcel A and $500 <br />for Parcel B.
