ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The low bid meeting specifications was submitted by Fire <br />Eq ipa t. Services at $11,871.65. <br />No exceptions to our specifications were taken by this <br />vendor. <br />'1��•. i I� 11' • It 11 1 <br />Staff recommends that this bid be awarded to Fire Equipment <br />Services. <br />Budgetary funding has been confim-ed for expenditure from <br />North County Fire District, Account #115-104-522-066.49 <br />Commissioner Bird advised that his question was whether we <br />should approve this sitting as the District Board of Fire <br />Commissioners or as the Board of County Commissioners. <br />Commissioner Wheeler believed both the Advisory Committee <br />and the Commission sitting as the Fire District Board have <br />already approved the purchase of this equipment. <br />Commissioner Eggert wished to know what exactly a "breathing <br />air system" is. <br />13 <br />BOOK 72 FA E IS <br />
