Keatin , A P SUBJECT: SANDPOINTE SUBDIVISION <br />Community Development Director <br />�CM= Boling <br />REFERENCES: Sandpointe <br />Stan o g <br />Chief, Current Development STAN2 <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular <br />meeting of May 31, 1988. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS:. <br />Sandpointe Subdivision is a 100 lot subdivision of ±52 acre parcel <br />located on both sides of S.R. A -1-A, immediately south of Seagrove <br />Subdivision. On October 8, 1987, the Planning and zoning Commis- <br />sion approved the preliminary plat for. the subdivision. At this <br />time the developers are platting that portion of the project, <br />approximately 23 acres, which lies on the east side of S.R. A -1-A. <br />This plat will consist of 47 lots with a residential density of ±2 <br />units/acre. <br />On May 17, 1988, the Board of County Commissioners voted to accept <br />a $6,700.00 donation to the park development fund in lieu of <br />requiring a 15' wide public access easement across the site to the' <br />ocean. The applicant, Carter Associates, Inc., is now requesting ` <br />final plat approval and has submitted the following: <br />1. a final plat in conformance with the approved preliminary <br />plat; <br />2. a certified cost estimate for construction of all required <br />subdivision improvements; <br />3. a contract for construction of required improvements; <br />4. 'a letter of credit guaranteeing the construction contract; <br />and <br />5. a check in the amount of $6,700.00 to satisfy the public <br />access requirement. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />The County Public Works Department has verified that the submitted <br />certified cost estimate is adequate.
