made by Assistant County Attorney Sharon Brennan, my concerns and <br />the unique requirements of this project. <br />Further, please note that the basic fee for this project is 6.2% of <br />estimated construction costs. <br />Please call me if you have any questions. <br />William Bibo and John White from the architectural firm of <br />Stottier Stagg & Associates of Cape Canaveral, Florida, stated <br />that they were very pleased and honored to be part of the library <br />project and would work very hard on the project and give the <br />County an excellent product. <br />Commissioner Bird asked what other projects they have <br />designed in this area, and Mr. White advised that the HETRA <br />Corporation facility is the most recent project, and they have <br />done some work at the airport for the City of Vero Beach . <br />Currently they are doing a needs assessment study for the new <br />police facility in Sebastian, have just completed a library in <br />Melbourne, and are designing a reference library in Cocoa. <br />Commissioner Eggert noted a few changes in the proposed <br />contract: <br />Page 1 Under 2.1.1., Basic Services, add the inclusion of <br />"design of on-site irrigation system and development of the site <br />landscaping plan." <br />Page 8 Under 3.3.8 add "exceptingthat meetings with the Public <br />Library Advisory Board, County staff and project presentation <br />meetings with the Board of County Commissioners shall be <br />considered to be Basic Services." <br />Page 10 Under 3.4.19, change wording to: "Providing services of <br />consultants for other than architectural, civil, structural, <br />mechanical and electrical engineering portions of the Project and <br />such other services as are provided as part of Basic Services." <br />Page 21 Under Item 6, Interior Design Services, add "as well as <br />a furniture placement plan." <br />22 <br />1JUN 1988 <br />_Ai <br />BOOK <br />72 uu521 <br />
