I <br />M <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any additions or <br />corrections to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 17, <br />1988. <br />Commissioner Bowman referred to Page 61 where mulch was <br />discussed. She noted that we are buying mulch, not trees, and <br />asked that the first paragraph in that discussion be corrected to <br />read as follows: <br />"Commissioner Bowman wished to have the Board direct staff <br />to use Melaleuca mulch whenever possible, instead of using <br />Cypress mulch. She wished to see the Board set a policy of <br />buying Melaleuca mulch, which is made from Melaleuca trees." <br />Commissioner Bowman then asked that the words "trees for" be <br />deleted from the next paragraph so that it would read "purchase <br />Melaleuca mulch whenever possible....." <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bird, the Board unanimously (3-0) approved <br />the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 17, 1988, <br />as corrected. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />(1) Budget Transfer - Sheriff <br />The Board reviewed letter from Sheriff Dobeck: <br />Z B00% ..13 FnU , 2, 6 <br />SUN 141989 <br />
