The transfer is necessary to cover the Deficit in <br />this account brought about by the increased cost in the <br />purchase price of the vehicles above the budgeted amount, and <br />the fact that we are not selling any surplus vehicles as <br />anticipated at the time of budget preparation and approval. <br />Due to the mileage and condition of the vehicles scheduled to <br />be disposed of, we are able to utilize them for an additional <br />year at a substantial saving to the county. <br />I am requesting this item be placed on the "Consent Agenda" <br />for June 14, 1988. <br />If you have any questions or any further information is <br />required, please let me know. <br />Sincerely, <br />00 <br />R.
