Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23.2(G)(2), Appendix A of <br />the Zoning Code, Mr. Damon is requesting a full 1 year extension <br />of the approved site plan. It has been the policy of the Board to <br />grant extensions to projects which conform to current codes. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of Mr. Damon's request for a one year <br />extension of the approved site plan; the new expiration date to be <br />September 24, 1989. <br />'Chairman Scurlock understood that our policy has not changed <br />with regard to granting more than one 1 -year extension, and <br />Robert Keating, Director of Planning & Development, confirmed <br />that our policy has not changed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />Glenn Damon's request for a one-year extension of the <br />approved site plan, the new expiration date to be <br />September 24, 1989. <br />WASHINGTON PARK IMPROVEMENTS IN FELLSMERE _ NORTH COUNTY <br />RECREATION PROJECT <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 8/8/88: <br />TO: Charles P. Davis, P.E. <br />Public Works Directo <br />SUBJECT: Washington Park Improvements in Fellsmere - <br />North County Recreation Project <br />DATE: August 8, 1988 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Last month, staff requested authorization to negotiate with a <br />local contractor to construct basketball court improvements at <br />Washington Park after unsuccessfully bidding the project. Staff <br />has negotiated with Fersch Masonry, Inc. to perform the work for <br />$2,486.25. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends authorizing Fersch Masonry, Inc. to perform the <br />work at a cost of $2,486:25.
