It was her under- <br />standing that what she requested at the meeting of August 2, <br />1988, was the ability to go out and thoroughly investigate this <br />and bring back a recommendation. She asked if any of the <br />Commissioners oppose the idea of a new health department building <br />being built somewhere in the community if we can get proper <br />financing, etc. <br />Chairman Scurlock felt that the potential funding is the <br />biggest hurdle, because when you look at our budget and the <br />funding for Phase III of the Jail, we just don't have the <br />dollars. <br />Commissioner Eggert appreciated that, but emphasized that <br />she was just talking about conceptual agreement that the County <br />has a great need for a new Health Department Building.
