RESOLUTION NO. 88-_52 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR STATUTORY PER <br />DIEM COMPENSATION FOR 1988 PROPERTY <br />APPRAISAL ADJUSTMENT BOARD MEMBERS. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has <br />appointed Richard N. Bird 'Carolyn K. Eggert <br />and Gary C. Wheeler to <br />serve as the County Commission's delegates to the Property <br />Appraisal Adjustment Board (PAAB) for the 1988 hearings; and <br />Margaret C. Bowman _ and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. <br />as alternates; and <br />WHEREAS, it 1s contemplated that the School Board of <br />Indian River County- Will adopt a resolution appointing its <br />membership to the Board and providing for allowance of per <br />diem compensation for such members in accordance with <br />Florida Statutes, Section 194.015(1987); and <br />WHEREAS, the cited statute requires a specific election <br />from both the County Commission and the School Board in <br />order to allow such compensation, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS THAT: <br />1. The foregoing recitals, including the appointments <br />to this year's Property Appraisal Adjustment Board by the <br />County Commission are hereby ratified and acknowled9ed; and <br />2. The above named members of the 1988 Property <br />Appraisal Adjustment Board, or their duly authorized <br />replacements, may receive per diem compensation for services <br />provided on the board as allowed by law for State employees, <br />pursuant to the above cited statute. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />Eggert who moved its adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Commissioner _ Bird <br />and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />107 <br />BOOK I F': �c.6�J <br />
