<br />Commissioner Bird asked about the Parks Development Fund,
<br />and OMB Director Baird explained that when we sell a piece of
<br />property the county owns, we put the proceeds in that fund and
<br />use it to buy new property for parks. We did have over $100,000
<br />in this fund, but used the money as an in-kind contribution to
<br />Golden Sands Park and $8,455 is the remaining balance.
<br />Commissioner Bird noted that there is quite a large sum in
<br />the Tree Fines Fund. He continued that in some cases over the
