Tuesday, September 20, 1988 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />September 20, 1988, at 9:OO.o'clock A.M. Present were Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr., Chairman; Gary C. Wheeler, Vice Chairman; Richard <br />N. Bird; Margaret C. Bowman; and Carolyn K. Eggert. Also present <br />were William G. Collins, II, Acting County Administrator; Charles <br />P. Vitunac, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Joseph <br />Baird, OMB Director; and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The. Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Paul Hauenstein gave the invocation, and <br />Commissioner Eggert led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Scurlock requested that a Budget Amendment <br />regarding some unanticipated revenue for the Environmental <br />Control Board be added to the agenda as Item I under the Consent <br />Agenda. He also requested that Item 9B (North County Office <br />Space) be deleted from the agenda. <br />The Chairman announced that around 11 o'clock, we will be <br />receiving a check from the Division of Forestry, and he felt this <br />could be worked in the Agenda. <br />Commissioner Eggert asked that a discussion of the Sloan <br />property be added to the Agenda under her matters. <br />SEP 2 0 1988 Boor 79 E: r;L �P: <br />
