Armfield, MAI, to Board of County <br />Commissioners dated.9/8/88 <br />DATE: September.12, 1988 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />In order to expedite right-of-way acquisition along Indian <br />River Blvd. South of 37th Street (Barber Avenue), staff has <br />requested Armfield-Wagner Appraisal and Research, Inc. to provide <br />a fee quotation for appraising both the original Boyle <br />Engineering Corporation's alignment and the alignment that Mr. <br />Hoffman is requesting. Armfield-Wagner performed appraisals of <br />_the--.property.,in 1981 and it is staff's opinion that this firm <br />would be most knowledgeable concerning this area. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The alternatives are- as follows: <br />Alternative 1 --Accept Armfield and Wagner's fee proposal of <br />$3,600 for both alignments. <br />Alternative 2 --Seek more quotations for appraisals and <br />consider other firms. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends accepting Armfield-Wagner's proposal at a <br />cost of $3,600. Funding to- be from 'fund 309 -Indian River Blvd. <br />North account. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Commis - <br />signer Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved Alterna- <br />tive 1 and accepted Armfield-Wagner's fee proposal of <br />$3,600 to appraise both alignments of the Hoffman <br />property. <br />ANNUAL PHYSICAL INVENTORY - FLEET MANAGEMENT <br />The Board reviewed memo from the Supt. of Fleet Management <br />to the Public Works Director: <br />SEP 0 1988 52 �rc�r u,_)F3j <br />
