McCAIN <br />PROJECTS ENGINEE <br />DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY <br />VICES <br />SERVICES <br />DATE: SEPTEMBER 26, 1988 <br />SUBJECT: BOARD APPROVAL OF MASTER AGREEMENT FOR <br />MARSHALL, MCCULLY AND ASSOCIATES. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Several months ago Indian River County undertook a selection process <br />to short list various engineering consultants. The firm of <br />Marshall, McCully and Associates, were short listed under the <br />following classifications #8, 9, 10, 11, 13 (see listing on cover <br />letter which accompanies the attached contract.) <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Utility staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners <br />approve the signing of the attached master agreement with Marshall, <br />McCully and Associates. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Professional Civil Engineering Master Agreement <br />with Marshall, McCully & Associates for water, <br />wastewater and other related utility applications <br />services: Classification #8 - Project Management 6 <br />Inspection Not Related to the Firm's Own Design <br />Project; Classification #9 - Effluent Line Extensions, <br />Related Pumping Stations; Classification #10 - Waste- <br />water Gravity & Force Main and Related Pumping <br />Stations; Classification #11 - Water Line Extensions <br />and Related Pumping Stations; and Classification #13 - <br />Plan Review for Projects Submitted by Developers to IRC <br />Utilities; with the modification in the safety Language <br />stating that the Contractor is solely responsible for <br />job site safety. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />68 <br />00 11!98 <br />BCC 4 FAU513 <br />
