McCAIN <br />PROJECTS ENGINEER\ <br />DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />DATE: SEPTEMBER 29, 1988 <br />SUBJECT: BOARD APPROVAL OF MASTER AGREEMENT FOR <br />G &'E ENGINEERING, INC. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Several months ago Indian River County undertook a selection process <br />to short list various engineering consultants. The firm of G & E <br />Engineering, Inc., were short listed under the following <br />Classifications #14, and 15 (see listing on cover letter which <br />accompanies the attached contract.) <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Utility staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners <br />approve the signing of the attached master agreements with G & E <br />Engineering, Inc. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Professional Civil Engineering Master Agreement <br />with G & E Engineering, Inc. for water, wastewater, and <br />other related utility applications services - <br />Classification #14 - Hydrological Studies and <br />Classification #15, - Special Projects - with the <br />modification in the safety language stating that the <br />Contractor is solely responsible for site safety. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />APPROVAL OF PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEERING MASTER AGREEMENT WITH <br />MARSHALL, McCULLY & ASSOCIATES - WATER, WASTEWATER, AND OTHER <br />RELATED UTILITY APPLICATIONS SERVICES <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 9/26/88: <br />67 <br />OCT 11 988 <br />Boor 74 Pa JE 512 <br />
