The amended <br />Motion was voted on and carried by a vote of 4-1, <br />Commissioner Bird dissenting. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously authorized <br />Building & Grounds Manager Lynn Williams to continue <br />with the North County library construction work and Jail <br />site work since he has been so involved. <br />FINAL ASSESSMENT FOR 11TH COURT S.W. North of Oslo Road <br />DATE: October 27, 1988 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The paving of the above road has been completed. Listed <br />below is a comparison of the preliminary estimate and the final <br />costs to the homeowners. It is noted that all construction cost <br />are under the original estimates: <br />Road Prelim. Est. Final Cost <br />llth Ct. S.W. $39,030.00 $33,475.14 <br />The final assessment roll has been prepared and is ready to <br />be delivered to the Tax Collector. Assessments are to be paid <br />within 90 days or in two equal installments, the first to be made <br />twelve months from the due date and the second to be made <br />twenty-four months from the due date at an interest rate of 12% <br />established by the Board of County Commissioners. The due: date <br />is 90 daysafter the final determination of -the special <br />assessment. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the final assessment to the benefited owners will be <br />less than computed on the preliminary assessment rolls, the only <br />alternative presented -is to approve the final assessment rolls. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />It is recommended that the final assessment rolls for the <br />paving of llth Court S.W., North of Oslo Road be approved by the <br />Board of County Commissioners and that they be transferred to the <br />Tax Collector's office for collection. <br />Funding to be from the Petition Paving Account #173-214-541. <br />NOV 81988 <br />34 <br />BOOK .75 DCE 1.32 <br />
