WESTWIND SUBDIVISION SINGLE LIGHT <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 10/31/88: <br />TO: <br />DATE: <br />SUBJECT: <br />FROM: <br />Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />October 31, 1988 <br />WESTWIND SUBDIVISION SINGLE LIGHT <br />Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Westwind Subdivision Homeowner's Association is requesting the <br />installation of one (1) streetlight. The City .of Vero Beach <br />Engineering Department has determined that one (1) 9,500 lumen <br />H.P.S.V. light should be installed. A charge of $11.50 per light per <br />month is recommended. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the <br />request for a streetlight, <br />procedure: <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />contingent upon completion of the following <br />4 3 f 47) <br />1. Staff would bil Westwind Subdivision Homeowner's <br />Association ' e in advance for the cost of t$> - <br />streetlights for a full year. <br />2. Staff would draft a standard single streetlight <br />agreement between Westwind Homeowner's Association <br />and Indian River County. <br />3. Staff would add one (1) 9,500 lumen H.P.S.V. lights <br />to the Master Streetlight Agreement between- Indian <br />River County and the City of Vero Beach. <br />4. By approval of this agenda item, the Board would <br />authorize the Chairman to sign the agreement between <br />Indian River County and Westwind Homeowner's <br />Association. <br />Commissioner Bowman noted an error in the arithmetic under <br />Recommendation #1, and, OMB Director Joe Baird made the correction <br />that the cost would be $138 a year for one Tight. <br />NOV 8188 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously <br />approved staff's recommendation as set out in the <br />above memo. <br />44 <br />BOOK 75 o,yo <br />rA 142 <br />
